Norris Mechanical was established in 2013. Its founder, Dale Norris, combined his passion for teaching and welding and formed the training facility. The mission of Norris Mechanical, LLC is to provide the Upstate of South Carolina, and beyond, with trained and skilled welders. Norris Mechanical is passionate about providing its students with hands-on, in-person training and technical skills that will be beneficial for employment in the welding field.
The broad goals of Norris Mechanical are the following:
- To ensure that students are receiving a quality education that will increase their skills as well as their career prospects
- To have quality faculty and instructors that are properly trained to understand and implement their respective duties
- To give students flexibility in scheduling their individual clock hours, as to accommodate for various walks of life
- To focus on staying financially stable and projecting future revenue, in order to properly prepare for current and future financial decisions
- To make the admissions process an easy/smooth process for all students
- To properly incorporate all of Norris Mechanicals conducts and policies, which help build a safe and quality educational environment for students
- To provide adequate student services to all students that request student services, which may include but is not limited to: job assistance, internet access, and counseling
